It took us six weeks to gather all the furniture for the house she found and to decorate it. It was exciting work, but it was a project and, when it was done, I went back Forgotten Harvest. I would come home and somebody would be delivering a crib to my garage, or leaving towels on my front porch. We want our donations to go directly to families who are in need in Detroit, and we don’t want them to have to pay for delivery.
